Boeing: We'd rather have a Boeing 737 replacement later than a re-engined 737 sooner

Boeing is strongly leaning toward producing an all-new successor to the Boeing 737 at the end of the decade rather than try to re-engine the existing line with a more efficient engine, Boeing's top executive said Wednesday.
