Qatar Airways will order a “large number” of Airbus A380 airplanes, the carrier’s chief executive officer said on Tuesday.
According to newswire Bloomberg, Akbar Al Baker told reporters in Budapest that the orders are “imminent”.
Al Baker said that Qatar Airways plans to be one of the early recipients of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. He also said that the company plans to sell shares in the airline by 2012.
