There’s a couple of ways of looking at Boeing’s third production rate increase on the 737 in as many months.
The most glaringly obvious one is that low cost airlines continue to drive growth and benefit from the yield erosion misery of their longer haul, legacy rivals who are out of shape and less agile – meaning customers are looking to bag a bargain with no frills operators (despite being stung with innocuous charges thereafter).
