Air China has received a USD260 million ECA supported financing

Jane’s - Transport Finance reported on September 1, 2010 that flag carrier Air China has received a USD260 million, export credit agency (ECA)-supported financing without a government guarantee - a first for any Chinese airline. HSBC is joint mandated lead arranger and ECA agent. The last time the airline was in the market was in July 2008 when it received a USD121.6 million, 13-year aircraft funding crafted by BNP Paribas and Industrial & Commercial Bank of China (Tokyo)....
