Airbus A320 China Production To Increase

With the bulk of A320s coming from Toulouse, the additional capacity from Airbus’ Tianjin operation will assist its increased production rates.
The Tianjin, China production line is geared up to produce four Airbus A320s a month, while at present currently runs at just below half that total. With Airbus’ plans to ramp up production at the end of this year, if demand continues to stay strong for the type, as it has done with the rival 737, then the additional capacity available in Tianjin could give Airbus a competitive edge over Boeing.
