Royal Brunei inks deal with SIA to lease six 777s

Royal Brunei Airlines (RBA) has confirmed that it will lease six Boeing 777-200ER aircraft from Singapore Airlines to replace its 767-300ERs.
The two carriers signed the lease agreement today, says RBA, adding that the 777s will help it renew its fleet and expand its operations. "In addition to a higher passenger and cargo capacity than the 767s, the 777s' improved product will enhance RBA's ability to grow its revenue base," says RBA. The airline said earlier this month it is in talks with SIA to lease 777s, and was expecting to finalise a deal soon.

Royal Brunei poised to announce deal for 777s

Royal Brunei has publicly confirmed that it plans to add Boeing 777s in late June and that it is speaking to Singapore Airlines (SIA), which is looking to phase out some of its 777-200ERs.
I confirmed this with Royal Brunei's top spokeswoman but she was reluctant to elaborate because the deal has yet to be finalised.

Air India loses lease deal for three aircraft to Jet Airways

Mumbai: National flag carrier Air India has lost a lease deal for three wide-body aircraft to rival Jet Airways (India) Ltd, two people familiar with the deal said. Royal Brunei Airlines to lease Jet Airways Boeing 777-300ERs by February

India's Jet Airways is close to finalising a deal with Royal Brunei Airlines (RBA) to lease three Boeing 777-300ERs from Jet Airways.
