Bombardier Aerospace announced today that fast-growing Porter Airlines of Toronto has placed a firm order for two Q400 NextGen turboprop airliners. The transaction involves the conversion of two of the six options announced by Bombardier along with Porter’s firm order for four Q400 NextGen aircraft on August 6, 2010.
Based on the list price for the Q400 NextGen aircraft, the order announced today is valued at approximately $61 million US.

Bombardier Celebrates 300th 'Comfortably Greener' Q400 Turboprop with Porter Airlines on Earth Day 2010
Bombardier Aerospace today celebrated its 300th Q400 turboprop aircraft, a Q400 NextGen model. The milestone aircraft is the 20th Q400 turboprop to join Toronto-based Porter Airlines’ fleet.
