CFM56-7BE Jointly Certified by U.S. FAA, Europe's EASA

EVENDALE, Ohio - 2 August 2010 - CFM International's advanced CFM56-7BE engine for the Boeing Next-Generation 737 family has been jointly certified by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration and European Aviation Safety Agency. The agencies issued the official engine Type Certificate on 30 July.
