The first Sukhoi SuperJet 100 (SSJ-100)will be soon delivered to Armenian Armavia airlines, a senior Russian official said Wednesday.
Sergei Ivashkin, transport minister of the Russian Far Eastern Khabarovsk Region, said the first SSJ-100 aircraft would be delivered to Armavia airlines in February after some tests, adding that 64 test flights have already been conducted.
The SSJ-100 is a 100-seat medium-haul passenger aircraft developed by Sukhoi SuperJet International in cooperation with U.S. and European aviation firms including Boeing, Snecma, Thales, Messier Dowty, Liebherr Aerospace and Honeywell.
