Virgin rents aircraft for $155m from Jazeera unit

Kuwait’s Jazeera Airways today announced that its unit Sahaab Aircraft Leasing has signed a contract for leasing out four Airbus A320 aircraft to Virgin America for a value of $155m.

This is Sahaab’s first lease to a US based customer and comes only a few months after the firm was acquired by Jazeera Airways Group in February 2010, the statement said.
