AMMAN, Oct 05, 2010 (AFP) - Iraqi Airways has put up for sale five Boeing passenger jets that have been stranded in Jordan for 19 years, the state-owned carrier said in a newspaper advert published Tuesday in the kingdom.
"Iraqi Airways wants to sell three Boeing 727-200s and two Boeing 707s which are currently located at the Queen Alia International Airport" south of Amman, said the advertisement in the government-owned Al-Rai Arabic daily.
