Airbus has enjoyed a sharp rise in orders during the third quarter and also a significantly higher number of deliveries than in the same period last year.
The Toulouse-based manufacturer secured 248 gross orders during the third quarter, compared with just 59 in the July-September period of 2009. Net orders rose from 55 in the third quarter of 2009 to 211 this year.
