Boeing Agrees to Sell Fifty 737 Jets to Russia Worth $3.7 Billion

Sept. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Boeing Co. agreed to sell 50 737 airliners valued at $3.7 billion based on average list prices to Russian Technologies Corp., a day after announcing plans to boost production of the bestselling aircraft.

The agreement, one step from completion, includes purchase rights for an additional 35 737s, Boeing said in an e-mailed statement today. The supervisory board of Russian Technologies, a state holding company, will consider approving the deal in October, Boeing said.
