All Nippon Airways Eyes Further 787 Compensation

Following the announcement of a sixth delay on the beleaguered Boeing 787 program which sees first delivery being pushed back to mid-first quarter of 2011, launch customer All Nippon Airways (ANA), is seeking additional compensation from Boeing.

“As the 787 is a fuel-efficient aircraft and is expected to increase our profitability, you should assume that any compensation will reflect any loss arising from the delay,” All Nippon Airways (ANA) spokeswoman Nao Gunji said.
