The 737NG+ and Ryanair

Boeing is examining interim solutions to enhance its 737NG to buy some time against the competition until it can develop an all new narrow-body aircraft to better compete with Bombardier's CSeries and Airbus A320NEO family.

Ryanair, who were holding out for lower prices from Boeing, are now suddenly back in the market. The coincidence of these moves seem to indicate that a major order could be possible for the 737NG+ in the near future.
