Nod to import 375 aircraft

The growth in aviation has prompted domestic airlines to place large aircraft import orders. In a written reply in Lok Sabha on Thursday, civil aviation minister Praful Patel said the government has granted ‘in principle’ approval for import of 375 aircraft for scheduled airline operations between now and 2025.
